can anybody explain how the rising star % is calculated? how long do they consider for the calculus etc??

It actually says in the bottom left corner of the rising star leaderboard:

"The rising star leaderboard ranks you based upon your performance that week. Player ranks are determined by taking your weekly score and comparing it with your time playing battlefield 2"

I hadn't even noticed mine was 449% (ranked 56th) - w00t w00t!

There's a date on that screen. It's Monday the 26th for me. Which makes me think that it updates every Monday.
We'll see tomorrow when the game realises I haven't played since last week and makes my percentage 0%
