VOIP Turning OFF!

If you have dxdiag (start<run<dxdiag<sound) set to "full acceleration" on any onboard sound contoller that's AC97, after a while your VOIP will go off and you have to quit the game completely to get it working, and even then, it will do it over and over. you have to set dxdiag to "standard acceleration", which sucks cause now i dont have 5.1, but will have voice 100%.

Hope this helps anyone, god knows I'm not the only one who's had this problem before.

You are doing that with onboard sound? Are you mad? You do know it uses your cpu and turning it up above low really cuts into your fps. Get a sound card they are cheap and you'll get better performance.

yeah i plan on getting an x-fi, but i have no fps problems with my x800xt-pe.

Thats what my friend has to do. Yet he only has to do it once. I told him to get a cheep sound card.
