this server is ranked, you can't run custom maps on ranked servers per EA...

Sorry, but EA's ranked server policy does not permit ranked servers to run custom maps.

However, unranked servers are free to run these maps.

I don't know what you've been smoking but this server has never been ranked, but thanks for the plug

edit: I just checked that link you provided, ranking there does not refer to a server being ranked with EA it has to do with where the server ranks amongst other servers, in regards to being populated.

Obviously your a newcomer to BF, to those of us that have playing the BF series for the past 3 years this is one of the most popular BF1942 Desert Combat maps ever released. :)

probally just copy the map files into C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels

I have 8 minutes left till my dl is done so well see

Man, I loved Lost Village! Friend and I used to steal the Blackhawk and go hunting other choppers. Nothing like sidling up on an unsuspecting enemy's port side and riddling him with bullets! Then we'd hang by the US spawn point and mow them down as they revived. It was so much fun!

How do you install this new map into the game, btw?

it comes in a exe file, just follow the wizard, it will install the maps for you, iam going into the server now
