standalone server help

hi all,
i want to start a karkland only server and i have set it up correctly but when serching for my server i cant find it on internet games only local games. i think it might be my ip address since im on a network so it's 192.168.0.1. i have tryed my other ip address 172.201.***.** and the server doesnt start up on that one. i have clicked the button that allows it to be shown in the internet game browsers, can any one help or send me a link to a website with a tutorial on making a stand alone server?

y do u say cheers. And the world dosent need anther super laggy bf2 server so just give up

i say cheers because i consider it friendly, also if i have a 16 player server it will run great.
