I'll install it right away provided I don't see a thread on these boards that says, "MAJOR MEMORY LEAK" or something to that effect after the first few hours.

You can always reinstall anyway. I have copied my install CDs to my hard drive following the directions in the customer support site and can reinstall and patch pretty quickly.


Oh, I'll also make a backup of my profiles first before upgrading just in case...

Ill install it right away, but ill back up the original install files so i can swap em back if the .1 patch is f00ked.

Ima wait a day 2 install it, cause all u ppl know good and well that EA is only going to make the patch available to fileshack n other places where u have to pay...i mean Ea's not goana give us sumthin 4 free!

Install ASAP, no point waiting. If it all goes to hell, I'll just reinstall - only takes a jiffy.

some people arent going to be able to download it the first day unless they have a subscription in filefront places like that. the public servers will be clogged and anyways that patch i heard is gonna be a big one

new patch runs really good, why wait, you wont be able to join many servers if you dont install it...

With the 1.02 patch (2nd patch) i also installed it right away but most servers didn't until like 1/2 a day later! So this time i'll wait and see what happens before installing. If one of my favorite servers is patched i will patch too!
