Do "Roadkills" get added/accouted in "Kills"?

At first, I didn't understand what 'roadkills' meant, I thought it meant literally "road killing" them (bashing infantry with vehicle), but then how the hell can a AA site run over infantry.

Later on I found out it was actually the kills you get from destroying nearby vehicles. I'm sure many who destroyed blackhawks with Vodnik or IGLA experienced this:

The above example are 6 roadkills.

Now my question is do these roadkills get accounted for in kills? Don't understand? Here's another example:

I wonder if my road kills ever get added into the total kills I have. If the game stats don't, then I would actually have 4,800 kills and 550 deaths which would bring my ratio up to 9.1 which accomplishes one of my BF2 goals.
So, anyone know anything wheter roadkills are indeed accounted for or just ignored?

Note: Calculations are wrong and actual figures are different from the numbers stated in the 2nd example, I wrote it down from memory.
