what do you think about this? I need help

:) I'm in the process of buying a new computer and I wanted some input on where should I buy It and some of the components that I should buy.
1-I'm thinking on getting a dual core 3800+ but I'm not sure what mobo to get. It needs to be compadilbe with dual core 939 socket.
2-I'm thinking of getting a 7800GTX and i'm not sure what power supply I should get, the one that comes with the case that is 420 or buy a seperate one around 500W or something?
3-I was thinking of getting it through cyber power or ibuypower what do reccomend. I'm leaning toward these because they have warranty, what is suggestion?

any dfi mobo's are awesome especially if you plan to overclock

as for power enermax or thermaltake are very sturdy and reliable as for wattage over 400 depending on amount of hard drives and fans

as for operating systems only diff between xp rpo and home is the networking configs do you run a home network get xp pro

what are u talking about I don't know if its sarcasm or not but a dual core 3800+ and a 7800GTX get ultra high setting. so yea could u get me some names or sites so I could order one. o yea are DFI boards user friendly cause I'm at boarding high school and with football and all I don't got time to mess around with a faulty computer.

Well, that was kind. I'm note sure who you are posting that rant to. There are lots of online retailers that sell Mobo's and video cards. I got my 7800GTX OTC from Dell when they were running a special when the board was released. I use an MSI Utlra 4 Platinum board that is 939 and I am very happy with it.

If you get one of those boards be sure about your memory that it is dual-channel compatible with the Mobo.

WTF was that. Have patience, it's not like you are waiting for someone to replay so you can get it this second is it.

420w power supply is fine, and that's a good card. What they said about mobo and I don't live in your country so can't help with good retailers.

1- DFI's LP NF4 series motherboards are good; go with the Ultra-D if you want the best bang for buck ratio, or go SLI-DR if you want the bling-bling. And yeah, even if they have an incredible number of options the overclockers (like me) will like in the bios, they are still very user friendly; just be careful when you choose your ram, I wouldn't go with Corsair if you choose a DFI board, as they are quite picky on the memory. MSI boards are good also, and I've had good experiences with EpoX boards as well. (I own the DFI Ultra-D right now).

2-A 420-450W PSU should be fine, as long as it has a brand and decent voltages on the rails. Enermax, Seasonic, OCZ's Powerstreams, etc = Good brands. I'd avoid Thermaltake if I were you, but thats just me. If the PSU that comes with your case is a generic one (and it is, most likely), I would definitly not use it; running an high-end machine on a crappy powersupply is playing with fire, literally.

3- If you have the basic knowledge needed, you could build it yourself. Building it yourself can save you some money. If you think you can't do that, IBuyPower has a good reputation.

I've got a DFI LanParty nF4 SLI-DR, and I've never had any problems with my 2 sticks of 1GB PC3200 Corsair Value S.

One more question what mobo is the best from this list? and does Cyberpower and Ibuypower build them for you

UK? Scan.co.uk are awesome. They'll build it, overclock it, and ship it for less than most other places. Or they'll send the bits so you do it all yourself. Plus they have pretty good cusomer relations.
