So, did they add any new ranks? like the warrant officer or officer ranks?

Did they change any of the requirements for awards?

Also, Aragoth, how did you get the Navy Cross? I know the requirement UBAR proposed was wrong, so what do you think it is?

I made a thread about it when I got it, not quite sure what happend most of the top 20 players have it now, and broggi has the Medal of Valor and the Golden Scimitar too.

It quite obvious that EA have just set him that rank because he works for them or is accociated with them, they just haven't given him the score to go with it because all the geeky little kids would sit there bitching because he is at the top of the leader board.

He was testing the new patch out, now with the new patch the whole ranking system has changed and with his global points (30,000) and the new patch that makes him a master sargent, looking at the screenshot in the 1st post all those people on the server probably dont have that many global points at all but there are afew sargents and staff sargents in there.

I was basically right, EA gave him the rank by letting him test the patch.

I think that score is pathetical low, i would much preffer a score like it is now that i am never going to get to so i have something to move forward to.

Apart from i'm not going to buy it because it looks crap and only has stuff that should have been in the game in the first place, ill just wait for a mod that will have it all in, will be free and better.

There's no possible way this could be right. 30,000 for a Master Sergeant? That's ridiculous! They probably just have the rank as a reward for testing. Nothing more.

Yeah thats what i was thinking, unless EA are really stupid, as otherwise they would have put it to a score higher than the top scorer, or just below it say 100,000, 30,000 is way to low.

You gain ranks much easier now then before so quite a lot of people are going to go up in rank the first time they play 1.03.

for people who dont look at past posts... They changed it so you rank up faster. And the guy was testing for EA and his stats hadn't gone back yet, thats all he isnt a cheater or exploiter.

Quite simply: The ranks probably arent being based on your global score achievements anymore, however, based on your performance. If that is true it would mean all your complaints about the requirements for Master Sergeant all wrong and insignificant.
