The fix I love the most is that the TV-guided missiles finally response to my clicks and has a 2-click function. The first clicks mark the victim and the second click fires the missile. If you want to change the target just click on another space and the cross moves there. Your fire with a double-click and after it been deployed you can navigate it easy by clicking and you get the feeling of being in control of the missile.

If anyone is curious to know how this will work, play singleplayer, it has this feature. Your first click marks the point with X and your second click fires the missile to that point. For me, i'm not going to like this change since I use the TV missles very well already and having to click once more to move the missle might make me lose the target.

Could be good or bad. I'm hoping it's good considering they went through all the trouble of adding it to the patch. I found nothing wrong with the old method...

I wonder about the "bunny hopping" if this is corrected in anyway? Those ppl are driving me nuts too. I thought that maybe they would add something about that.

I am also curious about this tag system. A lot of people signed up with accounts with their tags due to the goofy system. Will there be anyway to take tags off your current name so you can add the tag? Or will you pretty much be screwed? I don't think people will want to give up over 300 hours of play just to change the clan tag and new name.

You gain ranks much easier now then before so quite a lot of people are going to go up in rank the first time they play 1.03.


how so when you can only resupply/revive/heal a limited amount of times, thats where the big global points lie.

they are limiting the ammount of times you can resupply/revive/heal one teammate, probably 10 times per person in one round. you can still revive/resupply/heal them more than 5 times but you wont get points for it

Other bugs have been fixed as the Blackhawk-bug, no more weak spots there. Or as DICE calls it: “Set some wheels on jets and helicopters to stronger armour to prevent them from being destroyed instantly by AT missiles.




Set some wheels on jets and helicopters? What the hell is that?

I've never seen a chopper or jet destroyed instantly by AT missiles so this makes no sense.

No, this would be really really lame if you are in a squad. I think it's a point / minute type restriction rather than point / round.

I've never seen a chopper or jet destroyed instantly by AT missiles so this makes no sense.

Apparently the armor on the wheels of the blackhawk and other air vehicles was weaker than the rest of the helicopter.
So technically you can destroy a blackhawk with one missile to the wheel, rather than the usual 2/3 shots.
Never seen it in action though.

Too me, that sounds like you don't even have to guide it anymore.

I hope that's not how it'll be. I don't mind the little reticle illuminating the target so you can see it easier, but if its just 2 clicks and you ALWAYS hit that would be very lame.

welll im sure if they let people know that wheel bug befor the patch the bh issue wouldnt be as big, im interested to see the rank change however maybe get a gun or two
