Try searching the forums first:

We think that its when you die the spawn screen doesn't come up and spawns you with your previous kit in your previous spawn.
(If you still control that spawn - otherwise the spawn screen comes up anyway.)

no it auto joins the game if ur not there for like 2 mins or so ( loading screen to the batle)

It's like hitting the join game button when you finish loading the map. I believe the purpose is for servers that need all the players to be present before the game can start.

Of all the cool stuff they can add, you'd figure they'd save that "prime real estate" for something else...hmmmmm.
