is there a way that you could run bf2 in black and white mode? I heard that it can increase your gaming performance by like 10x since it doesnt have to render colors..

WTF? ... ud'd miss so much out of the game n get pawned... snipers will own ur ass since u wont b able to tell the diff between their camo and the gras... i dont think its such a good idea... -

ATI has some freaky B&W rendering option but it won't render you any more fps. No color setting on a modern PC will impact performance.Comment

It would have to render colours, then it'd have to convert them all to black and white, thus lowering your fps probably.Comment

Yea there is a shader post processing filter avaliable in the ATI control panel that allows you to do this, but like Shamus said, you will not get any extra performance from it.Comment
