Mouse/Keyboard not responding?

When I open up BF2 everything is ok, but once I connect to a game and join, my mouse and keyboard will not respond at all. I have played the game for a couple weeks and this is my first problem. I haven’t changed any settings.

I tried to reinstall the game but I get the same problem.

Help would be much appreciated.

first of welcome to the forum, second this should be in the client support section or hardware (but guess you couldn't have known that) and third if you could write down your system specs it'd be easier to help. so youre saying that in singleplayer everything works fine and in multiplayer it locks up??
