Trick For Mounted MGs

Considering the amount of people I snipe out of mounted mgs on tanks, jeeps, and those sandbag mgs. You can press ctrl or w/e you binded crouch to, to lower your head so it's impossible to shoot you unless they're shooting from the top.

You mean the standard crouching for all gunplacements that makes you duck behind sandbags/ablative panels on tanks (whichalso makes you unable to fire back when in this position)?
The guy tells you about this when in training mode

You'd be surprised how many people don't know about this... I get so many kills by people just sitting in MG.

I know that the training dude tells you, but who actually listens to him, or actually rtfm anymore. Besides, the amount of kills you get off guys in turrets is just ridiculous.

But when you're ducking...you can't see anything. So there is a trade-off

I have to agree with this. Just last night there was a guy sitting in the MG of a tank. Just sitting there and I missed the first two shots. He looks at me and knows I am there. He's a pathetic shot (even worse than me believ it or not) and misses me I hit him with one shot to the upper chest, and now I have his head in my sights and he still just sitting there. BANG ! he's dead.

If he ducked just for a second after I hit him with the first shot I would have missed the second shot and could have killed me while I reload the M24.

Thats nothing though, I've taken out loads of people who just sitting there in the AA nest, or an MG doing nothing waiting to get taken out.

I knew about it, but there are many who don't. That's why whenever I'm sniper I just sit there and wait for noobs to get in a Stinger turret or somethin then nail 'em

On my first account (which one day just seemed to be locked out) I couldn't get the crouch key to work. So I was one of the Noobs sitting in a tank like a target at the fair. On this account, I got it to work so I've learned to duck when getting fired at or during arty strikes. I still get killed but not as often.

I'm ashamed to say this after 85 hours of playing, but I didnt know that, I can now stop cursing the double tap forward not always working and use the the shift+w combination.

Well, I knew you could duck inside the vehicles, but I did NOT know this worked for every mounted gun on the map. So good tip. Thanks!
