SOTF is looking for good mappers!

Survival of the Fittest mod is looking for mappers!
We have made great progress with the Mod so far and we need mappers desperately!

Things we require from a mapper:
- Experience
- Cooperation
- Skills

And these are the things we will require from you in terms of the maps:
- Jungly, Urban, Desert, Rural maps
- Parachute Spawns
- No Vehicles
- Little or no fog
- and more, see below for details.

Thats the basic brief, if you wish to learn more about the Mod (which i would suggest before spending valuable time on a map) talk to us on IRC: #SOTF-BF2 @ Quakenet, or email me or Jimiz.

There are certain dos and don'ts for maps for this mod, extra to the above points, so you must speak to us first.

I'd just like to add that especially mappers familiar with using Terragen/World Machine in their work are welcomed.

I would also like to clarify the exact concept a bit more, or atleast in the areas that concern mappers.

First of all, as the game is all vs. all and there are no controlpoints in the maps, (well there is one uncap for initial spawning) so the emphassis immediately goes more to the terrain and layout as there are no flags working as focal points.

Also, the mod will be featuring high power sniper rifles that should be able to shoot very far (up to 1km, atleast in spesific maps) so that kind of forces the maps to be pretty scarse in meshes in order to pump up the fog distances.
