Players on top of unreachable buildings

Last night, I was playing on Karkand, and on top of the very tall building that overlooks the bridge flag were about 5 of the other team firing down, and killing anyone on the opposing side... It was nearly impossible to shoot any of them, as they were so high up. Their commander kept supplying them so they never ran out of ammo

My question is, how the hell did they get up there. There isn't a ladder!

if it was a server who had FF of , you can blow your way up to there with c4, then if he was a quad leader the rest of his squad just spawns next to him

Im not sure if there are any on that map, but how about bailing out of a heli/plane and landing on top of the building. Like some other guy said before me, if it was the squad leader, then everyone else just spawned on him.

there are hacks which let you jump high, although if there were 5 of them thats very unlikely

Some of those seem like really pointless places to get to tho. Especially the one overlooking the steps to the first flag. Has anyone tried using these in actual servers?, as I'm sure you'd get shot pretty quickly while you're faffing around with supply drops.

Very easy to carry people to any top of anything w/ a chope.

Well, can't remmenber that by now, but what about bombers (2 seats)... have any? They could be used, not so easy but possible.

Karkand has no planes or helo's...so it must be the C4 trick

I've actually watched them do it and have sort of done something similar myself. You plant C4 then run and blow it up. It will knock you in the air and you merely parachute to the next building. I watched them do it through the scope on my sniper rifle. Only 1/3 of them made it and they gave up after I parked a tank on a hill and constantly killed them.

The time I accidently did it was when I put C4 on an APC then backed away and blew it up. It knocked me really high in the air but did not kill me. I then deployed my parachute to save me from the fall and ended up on the roof of some building.
