Not allowed to join game

Hi,

I am new to playing online.

When I try to connect to a server, sometimes I get the error which says that this server is only available to players with unmodified versions of the game and so I cannot join.

The problem is that I have a totally original version of the game?

Any ideas??

the problem is that the server's are not configured to your patch.

go to the offical battlefield 2 site and download the 1.02 patch ( or search it on google)

Welcome to the forum and the plethora of interest, that is online gaming.
I know this is the server support part of the forum but this should be in the Client Support part of the forum.
Nevertheless I am thinking that you may not have updated the game with a patch or added the Punkbuster file to BF2 this is a link on how to do it please read through it all first then do as it says word for word.
