Noob events...

Ok here is a funny noob story that i watch all the time. Lets say there is a sniper in a building and you need to climb a lannder to get to him. I always watch my teammate climb up just to get killed my the claymore that is always there. They never peak for the claymore. Its sad, haha, but i am the guy behind him wating for him to die and i get the kill.

Teammates like you who needs the enemy!?! hehe jk , I usually just toss a nade up - 9 times out of 10 they are in a prone position and cant do anything but hear the "clink" as it lands next to em.

I have so much trouble with claymores. I'll get to the top of a ladder, see the claymore, stop, start backing up and BANG....a face full-o-claymore.
Also when they have been planted on the ground they seem to go off from 5ft away if not more. I've spotted a claymore, made note to not go near it and before i can plan my nxt move, BANG...soldier full-o-claymore. I don't get it.

On the other hand i will sometimes purposly detonate the claymores so i can respawn, go up there an shoot him. Sometimes theres another claymore, but after that he has no more, an i'll sure as hell be coming for him.
So i could be that "noob" when you watch your stories. But i die knowing either myself or someone else will or has killed the little begger.

I ahve never had a claymore go off in my face while on a ladderunless i dont see it, **** happens. Another thing is, claymore can be effecting up too 50-100 feet (real life) and should have a 180 degree spray, so just get far away from it.

the distances on the claymores in game is tiny. you cant stand right behind one when it blows up and not get hurt, just shell shocked.
so many times when im drunk, bored, lazy and camping somewhere i suddenly hear a huge BOOM and i freak out. then i remember the claymore on my ass.

I remember when I started using claymores if I was sniping. I was just laying there spotting or something, not shooting at all, when I got a kill. It took me many confused minutes to figure out how I got a kill when I wasn't shooting anyone.

I find it funny when the same teammate keeps trying to climb a ladder and the same sniper keeps shooting him when his half way up. Great laugh. Or when people get killed by the Medic's paddles. Funny that one.

I've been killed by paddles more than once. I always think it's one of my own medics and I'm like, "Dude, I'm ok. Go revive someone else."

Oh I feel the same way, the few times I've bothered sniping, I've always turned around to see some dude standing there with either a knife or paddles out, and where you think reflexes would kick in and fill the dude full of lead, the only thought that crosses my mind is: "Who the hell are you ?"
