Recommend some settings for me

I've recently got all the bottlenecks and whatnot worked out of my PC,and it's by no means high speed, but it runs BF2 pretty well. Given the following information, what graphics settings would you recommend for a good balance of appearance and performance?

AMD 2800+ processor
ATI 9600 vid card
1.5 gig of RAM

She runs nice and smoothe with everything set to low, but I'd be willing to sacrifice a little bit of performance to make it a little more pleasing to the eye. I know there are some tech heads here, so what do you think?

Thats about all you can get, w/o getting a new vid card. Frames PEr Second are always better then eyecandy. I have a P4 2.6 w/ATI X850XT & I still don't run it all on high. Not much difference between Med & High except FPS. I love my 95 FPS. I have all med except Geometry on high, no AA. I even get about 60 FPS while I am gunning in a jeep going 80 mph. LOL

I'd say the first thing youshould bump up to med is geometry. Next would be the lighting because the is a big difference between low and med on that. basically you don't have building shadows on low but do on med.

Best thing you can do is visit tweakguides.com they have a BF2 guide that will help you more than any of us can.

Oh and don't put anything on high whatever you do. The difference between High and med is negligable but not the drop in FPS.
