since Iam not in a clan I wish I could go into servers and be on squads or something where everyone is very good and plays very tactical and actually talks, I cant seem to find a server thats always like that

I found a server once where the commander told everyone (by VOIP) where the enemy was in relation to them, where to attack next, where to defend, exactly what to do...
We won every round.
Unfortunately I was very drunk and the power went down for an hour.
Never remembered his name or the server name/ip.
Good times

(If anyone knows who it was heres some more info - he had an australian/new zealand accent, a clan tag, it was a sharqi 32 player, multiplay.co.uk or EA server) - worth a try anyway

I tend not to use VOIP.. or voice at all, but when I do play commander I also try to tell as many people as I can where the enemy is in relation to heir facing and if on top of a bldg or not.

Works out pretty well and The guys that have played while I commanded did well to respond and usually won out of the individual conflict.

I am of the mind that there is no such thing as too much information to help others out in situational awareness.

I know it may be better using voice, but I did that on another game and was instantly annoyed by most the chatter as well as the imaturity of some of the players (Not that I am allways a muture acting individual) :)

It annoys me if the commander doesn't have/use voip...sorry...but I think it's a waste...kinda like a sniper.

The game is set up around Voip and teamwork, so anything less is well...uncivilized.

Since enough about me...let's talk about me....I'll tell squads leaders where the enemy is according to their clock...six...ect...

I don't play commander enough for exactly the same reason...having 5 cooperating squads is rare let alone 1.

I don't know - could've been I guess... (you do have a lot of letters in your name, he had a name with lots of letters in it) I just remember thinkin thats how the game should be played but no-one ever does.
Even though I was drunk it was so easy - I knew where everyone was, my team and the enemy team. With clear directions of where to go next as well.

BTW do you have an australian/new zealand accent? I think that guy did..or maybe I imagined it
(Im usually good with accents so I'll be surprised if I'm wrong :p)

Sign up with tournaments like Total war, otherwise i'd say keep dreaming

I've met some ppl on the net .. we come from Slovenia .. We're having 2 seperate teams of 3 - 5 ppl .. usually owning the map .. we use teamspeak to communicate and our commander is allways buzzing us .. about where to go .. what to take and whos where

We've recently started up a website for people like yourself!
Our members create squads, and get their own forum section, a buddy list and so on. Via our page it's very easy to see where the other squads are playing, so you can join that server and experience good teamwork.
