Stop whining about the Blackhawk and get the Hip, it doesn't have the miniguns, but in other ways its better than the BH. It manouvers better (IMO), the crew shoots out of the back, making it easier to "mine-divebomb" tanks, its easier to repair it from inside and it has more protection.

Man, you can even take flags with it!

With one anti-tank in the back, and a pilot that can be steady, it can counter those damn humvees aswell as the Backhawks can.

Im sick of all the whining about "OMG the Blackhawk is overpowered".

It earned the name Skycow for a reason. It had horrible Maneuverablility. You've obviously never flown either. It's back is also VERY exposed(well so is the BH) but I've tossed countless grenades right into it from the back, and it's a beautiful thing. The main purpose for the MI-7(or whatever it is) is to ram the US chopper.

I'm also sick of people complaining about the BH though, to me, its the easiest 6 kills ever. If you can, ram it, if you're on foot, get in a humvee or vodnik and tear it apart. Spawn as AT or support, play as spec ops and toss some c4 atop a flag, ect... It's not that tough.

In that case DICE got it wrong...Because i find it better than the BH to fly. But thats just me, im special.

I still think its better to have all firepower focused in the back of it. Mine-Divebombing tanks is fun :)

That mec chopper is like not responding to controls if you ask me.
And the guys sitting in the MEC choper can be shot out extremely easy, just shoot an AT in the back and they are all dead, I even sniped guys out of the MEC chopper true the big opening in the back.

I do not whine about the BH , first thing I do when I get on mashtuur as a MEC is taking a vehicle, park it on the mec main base at border of the river, there you can see the BH comming from miles away and with the .50 you can take it out

I love BH hunting on Mashtuur. Sure, the K/D ratio can go in the toliet, but it sure is fun knocking a full BH out of the sky...:laugh:

Just pick a secluded spot near a flag and wait in a Humvee or Vodnik. Keep you bursts short to keep the MG from overheating, and you can get the kill(s) plus flag defense points.

the trick with those flying cows is to have AT and spec op guys at the back. then, before capping a flag, make ONE CIRCLE around the area while the spec ops drop c4s.

Thats why the pilot should always be support/medic, and the gunners also.

Personally.. i Love the BH
play as AT and go BH hunting.. its a CHALLENGE people, dont do things because they are easy.. but because they are hard!!! your president said that!!

That being said.. i was autoswitched yesterday.. and i got to shoot the minigun in the BH.. and uhh.. ya.. that was really fun to.

Once when i played on Mashtur I reparaired the blackhawk and suddenly it exploded. It was a guy in the Mec tranport heli that drove into us and got 6 kills.
That might be a good tactic.

Add C4 onto the nose area, and point it at the front of the hawk. Switch to F4 and blow (make sure you test out the detonator before you leave the ground).

I think ramming the BH is a desperate tactic that frankly says "I've given up. I am not good enough to compete."

It's easy to rack up loads of points using the Mi-17 by just re-capping the flags that the BH took. Sure, the back is a bit more vulnerable, so just keep it pointed away from vehicles.

To me it's really just as good as the BH. The only difference is that you won't get any kills with those peashooter guns it has, but it can be very effective.
