I read on a review that Spec-ops are NOT detected by the UAV...

well w.e it doesnt always work today i had a uav around me while i was drivin a tank and i was shooting and i just blow up because of c4 lol he wasnt on the map.....................lol

but i saw an article before the realease of bf2 and the demo that specops cant be seen, but i think dice took it out.

Before the game was released DICE said in pretty much every preview that the Specops cannnot be seen in scans or UAV but I guess they took it out at the last minute because clearly it isn't in our version of the game. I hope they add it in a patch.

Well Hell's bells! I thought spec-ops couldn't be seen in scans and UAV. That bites that they took it out.

The scan and the UAV pick up Spec Ops. I know because they are the lone red dots heading towards my assets and when I got to take them out I can see what class they are. The UAV and the Satellite Scan pick up 100% of the enemy 100% of the time. The dots will change on each pass because it is scanning a fixed position for mobile targets. When people get in and out of vehicles it the dots will change. Also, the dots will stay for as long as the Medic Revive meter lasts. I know because I'll kill the only enemy in my area and the dot will be exactly where his body is until the body dissappears.

Ive seen it show a apc on the UAV but miss it the next time then show it on the next time round.....maybe im going mad

I have noticed that it will go round the first time show every thing then a second and show nothing, but it shows everything again on the third rotation, wierd.

It is accurate other than that, it doesn't show the height of the play but thats kind of obvious.

This is my guess of whats going on up in herre. They have temporarily left the UAV range thats why they aren't in it, then they move back in and you see them again.

That "TheInvisibleMan" gave us, it did say that Spec Ops can not be seen when they are still, but are seen while moving on UAV
