Master Sergeant and First Sergeant.

Well kids we're not far from seeing the 1st of these ranks showing up on the leaderboard so my question to you guys is whats the point?

*Requirements for First Sergeant:
. 150,000
· Basic Knife
· Basic Pistol
· Basic Assault
· Basic Anti-Tank
· Basic Sniper
· Basic Spec Ops
· Basic Support
· Basic Engineer
· Basic Medic

*Requirements for Master Sargent are 150,000.

How many players with 150,000 points wont have all the basic awards?

Is the patch going to change this? i heard things about the patch changing the requirements on how you get awards.

p.s keep it clean no bitching about the top players.

well im a 3rd of the way there and was missing 3 until some medic revived me into an AT kit and I accidently got the at basic :cry: . Even if I make it that high in rank I dont care about badges asides the ones that are kill based and not timed based. Kills are a challenge and fun to try for the others are just proof we are nerdy.

Well I'm wondering what the point of all those top-end ranks will be, to be honest. I mean, if you get an unlock for both Master Sergent and First Sergeant, that'd be like getting two unlocks at the same time. And then when you hit the 250,000 point threshold and gain the final two ranks, there won't be any more guns to unlock. Unless, they only allow you to unlock one at 150,000 and another at 250,000. Dunno what they're going to do about it, though.

well some badges are really hard to get...for example..knifing is imposible for me

The thing is i dont think there is a player in the top 100 (maybe) let alone the top 20 that hasnt got the basic knife.

See this is my points loads of players have the basic awards before they even hit sargent.
Im guessing 1st Sargent is a higher rank in real life?

Maybe those requirements are wrong? Just like they where for the Navy cross and stuff?

p.s. Remember when I got your tank when you where fixing it but this enemy tank was coming so I took him out? you where mad I remember you where like don't do that! ... Don't do what!? I killed the damn tank you lived,I gave you back the tank so what did I do wrong? What did you want me to do just stand there so the tank could kill me! what!!?

The name rings a bell cant say that particular moment does though, but it does suck when you get out to repair the tank only to have your teammate think ah ha! free tank!....ill have that "yoink!"

I do see your point as most if not all will have the basics before hitting that position

To answer your question on the "real life" thing. Master Sergeant and First Sergeant are the same pay grade (E-8) however the First Sergeant will be in more of a leader/command role. Most likely the senior non commissioned officer of a Company. A Master Sergeant, getting paid the same as the First Sergeant, will be in most likely some sort of operational role in a Battalion or higher level.
