Joystick hat sensitivity

I'm currently flying choppers using my old CH Flighstick Pro and using the hat for yaw. However I'm quite dissappointed in the turn rate I'm getting while only using this to turn the chopper around (when you pass a target on the ground and want to turn around for the kill without needing to make a large radius turn).

Now, is there any way of changing the sensitivity? I'm not able to locate any other than "mouse sensitivity" in the options page. Thx for any response...

I have yet to find a setting that improves this. I think that's the fastest you can get them to rotate.

Well, it might just be wrong, but I feel that the choppers rotate quite fast when the pilot gets killed or bails out. I don't think I'm able to turn that fast when flying.

Yaw and turn rate would be set in game by the pyhsics, I doubt you could do anything to improve it via the joystick. Never thought of using the hat for yaw/rudder control before, my new Evo Wireless stick has twist-yaw built in and I use the hat to select the various cockpit views.

I usually have to bank hard and pull back on the stick to make a tight turn. Faster than rotating, but messier until you get practice

*sigh* joystick+chopper=suxxors, mouse/keyb + chopper = yay!.
get yourself a logitech mx158 or the new laser G5...

Why must people always argue this?

It's personal preference.

I think joystick rocks and mouse/keyboard sucks but you don't see me spouting that in a thread...oops...I just did

I use a joystick & I throtle back to hover to make a flat turn it seems the more torque on the blades the less responsive it is to yaw.
