Who all is using Yahoo's The All Seeing Eye? I like it. It's an alternative to BF2's Multiplayer browser. After a few minutes of use, I went ahead and paid $15 for a one-year license. Am I crazy? Any thoughts?

Looks kinda cool though. Its gotta beat the vanilla bf2 mp browser.

Yeah it's really nice. Where have you people been that have never heard of it!? It's a whole lot better than Xfire! Xfire is good to use with keeping track of people, but ASE has the same feature... doesn't work as good but it's made to search for servers not that. You are the first I know that actually bought the program though. lol ASE has many filters that you can use to filter servers. Xfire does not have that kind of stuff.Comment

I bought a year subscription last year which ran out last April, subscriptions are good for unlimited buddies and faster scanners. It's far better than Xfire in my opinion. It just lacks the BF2 support, which in all fairness isn't their fault. It has much more information on servers and is far more powerful overall compared to Xfire.
Custom mods, custom filters, all fine tuned to the users every need. Also has DDE support built in. Which is useful :)Comment

yeah i use it, used it for a long time, the only thing though is that by the time a spot opens upin a server in all seeing eye, its mostly taken by the time you get in to the game.
Its was good for all other games, but bf2, i still have to copy down the ip and type it in, in game.Comment

I have used it for ages, works great, keeps a nice buddy list and favorites etc. I bought a lifetime membership for it ages ago, they don't even sell lifetime memberships anymore I think.Comment

It is ,hands down the best one out there. I have used it for years. Are you crazy for registering for 1 year at $15? Well.. I think it's a shame it's costing that much without the option they used to have before Yahoo took it over. That is the "Lifetime Subscription" which I was lucky enough to get in on before they discontinued it. X-Fire sucks but is free last I looked . If you have some disposable cash the ASE is the way to go. One thing that does bug me about ASE is it doesn't display "ALL" of the players in the server, just top scoring 15 or so.Comment

Are there any hacks to automatically log me in to my bf2 account after launching the game with ASE?
I only have one account so I just have to press Enter. Damn annoying. It might be easy to come up with a small program to do that for you.Comment

I'm using it .. and it works perfectly for me ... I like it .. I like its Friend list .. and I bought a licence ... it was like 15 $ ..

ASE is $15 a freak'n year! Gee, thanks Yahoo.
I use qtracker, just as good as ASE, leaves nothing resident in memory when you launch the game and it's donation ware, essentially free.

It's true that qtracker is a pretty good program. It's free and fast.
In saying that, I'm still gonna stick with ASE because it find it faster to use it's filters.
In my favourites I have a page of just servers running custom maps and with one click I head to favourites page 2 where I get a list of ranked, non full/empty servers with pings less than 70....
What I can't understand is those that don't use a third-party browser to find servers though....Comment
