Problem...

Everytime i open BF2 the Battlefield 2 logo will come up, the screen will go black, but then it goes back to the desktop. Can someone help with fix this?

• 2.80GHz
• Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller
• 255 Memory RAM (can you hook up data sticks as a form of ram?)
• System Total mb 255.0
• Virtual Total 2047.9 mb
• Pagefile Total 2240.9 mb

a intel graphic card? is it integrated on the motherboard?(i think thats the problem)

intel chipsets won't run bf2, and you need atleast 512 ram.

Hm well, I doubt you'll be able to play with your system even though you meet the minimum requirements with your system. It sounds like your problem is a result of the onboard graphics. Hm, I'd suggest getting a new video card and a stick or two of ram. What brand/model computer do you have?

Your processor is ok, your video card is GARBAGE, you dont have enough RAM. That sums it up...invest in a new computer.

Well i have a:

AMD athlon 64 3000+ @2.02
Nvidia 6600GT 128 mb
1 gig of pc2700 RAM
250 GIG hard drive

And i have the same exact problem only it works, until i install the V 1.02 patch
i used the newest video card drivers as well:cry:

nvm it seems to work im not sure what it was, maybe because i killed the opening videos.

dude do what i did, get some ram, it's cheap. Then go to newegg.com, and buy yourselfe a 5700 cheap for like 100$ pci, well it depends what you have

You can also get a 5200 (that runs low/medium textures) for like 50 bucks at newegg.com for a apg slot.

please tell me what slot you have and i can help.
