For the past few days, I haven't been able to play Battlefield 2 because when I join a server, I cannot move my mouse. The game itself isn't frozen because I can still see the action in the background. But, as I have said, I cannot move my mouse or use any hotkeys.

That just happened to me too a few days ago. I cannot play BF2 now. Mouse works with the little spinning 2 icon and just before the join game button appears on the lower right part of the screen, the sound and spinning icon shutter a second, then continue spinning and playing, but as soon as I am in the select spawn point and weapon screen, mouse and keyboard freeze. I tried different keyboard mouse combos, updated drivers, re-installed and patched, but no luck. It was working beautifully for a month. Go figure.

I had the same problem. Just go to controls and click on set to defualt and it should work.Comment
