I want to sell My Game!!!

Hi,

Is there a way to unregister my CD-Key from EA? I want to sell my Full retail version and my key I bought at gamestop 2 days ago to someone. I want to make sure this can happen in a legit way...

change the password and sell the login details. or delete the account and sell the cd + cdkey, remembering to delete it copmletely from your system

I would have said the easiest way would simply be to delete all your active accounts and then just sell the game anyway. Perhaps you'll get an email about the patch but thats about all.
I could be wrong but thats what I'd do.

I wouldn't worry about the legit side of things. You're not really supposed to sell the game 2nd hand at all but big-name shops are full of them so go ahead.

EDIT: Oh yeah like the above poster says change the PW to something like "monday" or something else easy to remember then write it in the game manual.

I already took it back to Gamestop and got store credit. I'll probably wait till Call of Duty 2 or Quake 4 comes out and
use it then.

well i don't know where your from but you can in England. Thers a video game/hardware store in my town where they buy and sell second hand PC games.

wowza. that's pretty dangerous, considering really what that US$50 pays for is a string of numbers and letters, in the case of multiplayer games.

Yes they do. I returned my and they game me store credit.
As long you have your reciept it's ok I guess.

You're not supposed to, it says in the License when you install a game that you agree to without reading, that you wont re-sell it on. Thats why GAME dont trade in PC games, Gamestation do, but they're poo :P

I mean, you are sick of it now, but in a couple of weeks you maybe wanna play it again..?
I would never sell a game even if I got tired of it.

I wouldn't sell this (well not yet anyway), but I do have several games that I have no real intention of playing again that I keep forgetting to sell :/
