whenever i go on bf2 my speakers crackle lightly and the louder a sound occurs the louder my speakers crackle...maybe i need new sound card or maybe just update the drivers

speakers fine on all but bf2

Sound card is: Vinyl AC'97

n e 1 know if are new drivers for it?

I had crackling on my Realtek AC97, I purchased an Audigy 2 ZS and haven't had issues since. I don't know where to get drivers for that card. Did you try playing with your ingames settings. Hardware/Software, Low/Med, turn EAX off.

Goto your motherboard manufactures website and search for new audio drivers.

Use DriverCleaner (http://www.drivercleaner.net) to clean your drivers (IMPORTANT: Follow his instructions exactly, or you could mess something up!) IF your driver is not listed in DriverCleaner then goto your Add/Remove programs and see if it is listed there.

Then re-install the new drivers you download. Hopefully this will take care of your problems.
