Mine Movie Suks, cuz I can't see it.

    Hey hey,

    Gotz me a problem...

I'm running windows media player 9.0, downloaded xvid codecs from 2 different locations (download.com and some other one).

When I run the video...I get a green window...any tips.

Yes I did a search first,

    Thanks in advance.

Try using the FFDShow filter instead of many different codecs:
    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/FFDShow.htm it let's you play wmv, divx, xvid, mpeg-1 & mpeg-2

It installs the Media Player Classic that has a lot of great features the regular Windows players lack.

You can also try using the VideoLAN Client player, VLC, you can download it same site as above, and can play most formats.

The only time you really need to download individual codecs is when you want to encode not decode.

I use the K-Lite codec pack. It includes almost everything. I also have Real Alternative and Quicktime Alternative so I don't have to have either of those programs, and the videos just play in WinAmp instead. If you are interested, PM me I will put them in a .zip file on my server for you.
