Extra Maps

I see on the main total battlefield page there are 3 maps too download:-

Oasis
Darfur
El Alemein

Are they any good? Are they worth installing? And if so are there ranked server for them too play on?

Not sure about the maps but I don't think you can have ranked servers with customs maps:cry:

Aye most of the custom maps are pretty good...shame nobody is ever playing them and are unlikely to untill they're ranked

yeah i can't see why they shouldn't be ranked i mean yeah the new maps might have to be submitted too EA to meet there approval but once thats done i see no reason for them not to be ranked. Afterall if EA where against mods etc then they wouldn't have released a mod editor would they?

They're not against mods, they just don't want them being played on ranked servers since people could then create mods/maps that would enable them to pad their stats.

well yes but they could allow people who make maps too submit them to EA for approval if they think there ok they can then set them as ranked. i really can't see why that would be a problem.

There are almost always ranked servers hosting custom maps and are easy enough to find.
