Underwater fighting in expansion?

Well I was looking at the render for the gun that fires underwater in the Special Forces expansion and I thought yeah why not go underwater, it cant be too hard to get the machanics for that done. Then I thought maybe they mean it as you can just fire while standing in water or while swimming... but why would they have a harpoon{?} gun? it must surely be for firing underwater right?

Anyone got any info on this?

Seems like it is asking alot for an expansion...I doubt it will be in place to swim under water - let alone be able to shoot, etc.

Maybe it will just allow you to shoot while swimming - not necessarily under water.

I think it means we'll have sharks with lasers on their heads that we'll have to shoot.

I doubt it that gun is designed for underwater it isnt effective in the air.

I think maybe he is talking about the spear gun being ineffective out of the water...could be - never gone deer hunting with a spear gun - will have to try that sometime. Just remember to wear your wetsuit drenched in deer pizzle to attack them to your 15ft attack range.

maybe just being able to use knife underwater be really good to surprise the enemy by popping out of the water.

I wasn't questioning its effectiveness; I was questioning his "logic." He said that he doubts the weapon would be used underwater, but in the same sentence says it's useless above-water. So we'll be basically handed a useless weapon?
