it doesnt take a genius to figure out you have never seen it? do some research, there are plenty of posts and even battlefield recorder videos. i've seen it myself at least a dozen times and as such refuse to play AT at all.

something about shooting 3 rockets at a hummer from about 5-10meters away and watching them all go straight through the car and out the other side only to have the hummer turn around and ram you kinda puts you off AT.

there are videos and plenty of other ppl that have seen their rockets go through others, i've been on both ends of it.

its a fun game but far from flawless, why do ppl insist on defending or ignoring obvious mistakes?

I'm not trying to defend anything - just trying to make some sense out of what was going on.

        Re: what bugs?

I had the red nametag bug just last week, and last night I fired an AT rockets through 3 APC's in as many rounds.

Other than that, the "stuttering" movements were pretty bad on lots of servers. How I rectified this:

I set up one of my two hard drives specificly for games. NOTHING else.

I also started joining ONLY servers with a ping of less than 100.

Ever since I started doing those two games, I've had VERY few issues/problems with this game. I'm actually worried about what may happen if/when they issue tha patch!

it was more of a general rhetorical question to the universe at large.

            Re: what bugs?

There are lots of bugs in BF2, red tag friendly, blue tag enemy etc etc but one that's been annoying me lately is when you repeatedly knife someone from point blank and you see the dust each time but don't kill them. No doubt its a hit box detection problem but someone can be not moving and it may take 5 jabs with a knife from point blank to kill them or they turn around and then shoot you. Then other times it seems you can knife someone from 2 arm lengths away, gets frustrating.

You can see it in a BF2 Knifing Rampage vid I made http://www.r2clan.com/modules.php?na...p=getit&lid=23

That reminds me of something from The Simpsons...

Mother Simpson: [sings] How many roads must a man walk down / Before you can call him a man...
              Homer: Seven.
Lisa: No, dad, it's a rhetorical question.
              Homer: OK, eight.
Lisa: Dad, do you even know what "rhetorical" means?
Homer: Do *I* know what "rhetorical" means?

What I meant was when the missle goes through the open side of a blackhawk, or if it goes through the roll cage of the fast attack vehicle. That's happened to me a ton of times. I'm about to be run over and shoot that missle right through the roll cage of the vehicle. I've played AT almost 32 hours and never personally had it travel through a solid part of a vehicle - but I have seen the videos. That is most likely due to synch. Is that a bug - I guess - but that kind of thing happens with every online game.

As far as real bugs - the red tag thing is the only one I encounter much. Had the game crash a few times, but not that many. Although that may be because the computer I play the game on has very little else on it, so its a fairly clean system (less likely to have conflicts).
