Planetbattlefield.com seems to have alot of cool battlefield 2 files and maps but you have to pay a monthly fee to be abe to download anything. Does anyone know of any other sites that it is possible to download battlefiled 2 files, client, and maps from for free? I realy wanted to check out some of these maps http://www.planetbattlefield.com/bf2/tweakin/maps/

You don't have to be a subscriber.
Just login using your gamespyID and then click on one of the free public servers and wait if there is a queue.

I wonder what percentage of their customer base are people that think they have to pay to download?
