it would be wrong to reset imo, ea should give some guidelines about whats right or wrong or something, coz points are all over the place when playing.maybe i get my stats reset also when i revive a dude 3 times on a row just because hes dying all the time.

if you played 200 300 400 or more hours, you must love the game. its kinda harsh then if your stats gets reset after some "whining".
ok stats arent everything but we're all on a mission!

im a blackwho also and find flying and crewing these things an amazing gameexperience.
