Any help on this would be great I get the B.S.O.D

Any help on this would be great I get the B.S.O.D when I play one game BF2 granted I only play SHIII and FM05 but they work great all the time.

So im playing the game it can run for hours fine then B.s.o.D

    This is what comes up

    STOP: 0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0XBFA526E3, 0XB94DBBD8, 0X0000000)

    *** NV4_Display.dll-Adress BFA526E3 Base At BF(D3000, Datastamp 42DF2742

I’m on display driver 77.77 for my GT6800 card.

Any info on this would be great is it the driver, machine or game?

    Thanks for your time:cry: Sav.

The error message indicated a corrupt display driver attempting to access a memory address higher than it has authoruity to. THe best solution is to download www.DriverCleaner.com and then uninstall the vid drivers, reboot. Restart in in Windows Safe Mode and use Driver Cleaner to remove all traces of all video drivers.

Now reinstall your motherboards chipset drivers and then install the latest video card drivers.

The last step is to navigate to:

    C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxxx\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

...and delete all the files under that directory to get rid of any settings that may interfere with the new, fresh driver install.

The link to drivercleaner is not .com but .net so correct URL is http://www.drivercleaner.net , I've posted the .com before by mistake too. :wall:
