i say g3, if you get the dao, then what are you gonna do about long range shots, sure you get the missles, but you're gonna wanna save those for armor and such, and the pistol won't do much good. the dao is good in close quarters, but it being a shotgun means you wont have a chance in long range. the g3 was my first unlock, and its awesome. i definetly dont miss the nade launchers, i personally like normal nades better. only real down side is it only has a 20 round clip, but it is REALLY strong (does 45% damage with each bullet) so you can take a slightly injured guy down with about 2 shots, and a guy with full health with 3. the g3 is awesome in close quarters, and isnt that bad in long range (if you put it on single shot, you can snipe with it pretty well). so anyway, get the g3.

If you get the G3 what are you going to do about the next tank/apc/helo that shows up? Run away screaming like a little girl? (That's what I usually do when I'm playing assault.)

This is just the wrong way to think about it. Both guns are great, but the DAO is a much bigger improvement over the stock assault weapons. I would go for the DAO first.

YOU DECIDE! These other people are telling you to get this or that usually because they have it & like to bragg. Go to this IP & you will see TONS of people with both the G3 & Dao. (for those critics that have to be right, people will also say one gun or the other because they were stupid & got a gun that didnt suit them so they say the other)

I'd say go DAO, because, as said before, it's a very good upgrade from the stock weapons of the AT kit. And shotguns are so much fun .

However, you might consider the ¨cool¨ factor of the G3. This things packs an amazing firepower, is very accurate at medium range....and I like the sound too :P.

I am unsure about the PKM and DAO-12 since support is useless in single player, and don't play it much. I'm not sure on the DAO-12, L85, and M25......G3 is not that big of an improvement, but is extremely powerful, L85 is really accurate, and the M25 is better than the MEC and Chinese snipers.

I am unsure about the PKM and DAO-12 since support is useless in single player, and don't play it much.

Actually support is very useful in SP since you have to do most of the killing yourself. When you need to cap a flag pretty much on your own you need to be able to kill a lot of bots without having to reload. As far as the upgrade, PKM is certainly an upgrade over the Chinese LMG but I think the SAW and RPK-74 really don't need the upgrade.

The G36C was my first unlock, i like it I was planning on getting the G3 next but i happened to pick up a enemy's M95 Sniper on Strike at Karkand, so I tested it out and found it amazing, its very powerfull, I don't really play Sniper class because I find it hard to kill with them, however when i was using the M95 it was a different story i was killing way more easier and faster, so im not sure which one to get.

Can the M95 Sniper zoom, people say it does but other's say it doesn't which is it to be?

Same problems as the first poster, doesn't the G3 compensate with the loss of the noobtube? I heard it was 3 shot kills against a kit with no armour. I got the M95 first, so i have a problem with unlocking a dao-12 or G3. I f i unlock the dao, i have predator and grenades. Someone in the same situation HELP!

It is 3 chest shot kills for unarmored personaal, but so are the aks, and same for 1 shot headshots. It has a slight advantage over the AK101 against people with armor, it takes 4 hits to an armored enemy with the G3 to kill em, it takes 5 for the AK101, that could mean the difference between life and death on Karkand.

Yep, the G3, M95, and PKM are the only guns that make a nice sound. I love my G3, i use it all the time, i love assault, hate nooblaunchers.
