more i read the posts in this forum, more i wanna cry...

i have 512 of ram and was thinking runnin this game on high with a 6800gt. but i have been told that it wouldnt be possible, and i have to upgrade my ram. so i decided to add another 512 to it. is that enough or do i have to have 4 gigs of those bloody bars?

yes... my friend spends more than a 100 on a system with a 256meg... and runs on medium.. but seriously, 1gig is good?

NO, lol. You might get a decent frame rate staring off into one direction but as soon as you touch the mouse it will stutter. Don't even waste your money on another 512 of memory. Just save up and get 2 sticks of 1GB Dual Channel.

1GB will work fine unless you turn all the gfx settings to high. If you want to do that then you need at least 1.5GB, 2GB to be safe. I also have a 6800GT (and 1GB of ram) and I had to turn my settings back to medium cause all the lag got too annoying.

You have a 6800gt and you're crying about getting another 512mb of ram? RAM isn't expensive, $40 for some cheap end if you have to..

Well if you're on a budget get a stick of 1gig and later get another stick.

1 Gig is fine as long as you dont turn all graphical settings to high. It still looks good at all medium. Whenever you have to money you can add another gig later.

I managed to run medium-high just fine with 1GBof PC2700 RAM and an overclocked 6800GT.

I'm running on high and I can't even tell much difference between medium and high.. I have 2 GB and for some reason they both run at the same FPS for me..

30 dollars huh?? weird cuz my friend told me that 512 costs about 120 dollars, i might just get 2 gig then. would it be a problem if my motherb can ONLY support 2 gig? if i get 2 gig will that be a safe thing to do to my motherboard, dont laugh at my idiot questions, i can beat u in basketball lollll.
