Placebo, the PR guy, is saying that Armed Assault, what was supposed to be a version 1.5 of OFP is shaping up to be more like an OFP 2, and that OFP2 is now starting to be called OFP3. Armed Assault should be out in the coming months.
Just on the main page there are some hints to a remake on other consoles. Look under the tv and you will see the bottom of a very familiar controller...
IT IS going to be for the PC. The PC version, called "Armed Assault", will include the old campaigns plus 1 new one (appears to be set in the desert, but not certain) and will be packed with all sorts of improvements. Supposedly, a year after its release within the next few years we will see OFP3.
But if you want an X-Box version of old OFP, but with numerous improvements, then buy Operation Flashpoint: Elite.
