Re: Best legit kill streak and score per minute in the game?
To answer some questions...
The noob tube is labeled so because about 99.95% of the time it's used, it is used in a noobish manner.
I have full respect for those players who can hit me with that grenade launcher while I'm running across the map around 100m from them. But it's those who bunny hop and shoot at their feet (where you are), kill you instantly, and take minimal damage that gives all the assault guys a bad name.
And no, kill streaks do NOT carry over from round to round. If you notice at the end of the round (especially if you check the console), the game makes everyone commit suicide at the end of the round, though it's registered as a special death, which is counted seperately and contains no penalty. Using a specific bf2 query, you can retrieve the number of special deaths, which is nearly identical to the number of rounds played. Because of this death, kill streaks end.
Both the Medic and the Assault on each side share the Assault Rifle. Carbines are something totally different (like the usual AT gun).
Anyway, a kill streak is really nothing to show off about, no offense. Being revived will cancel out any death, and undo the end of a kill streak. On a server, I can play with some friends in a 6-man medic squad, and have the whole round be one long kill streak. Find the right server at the right size at the right time, and I can be breaking 100 easy.
Regarding pilots, that's an easy way to get your k/d ratio up, as well as get a high kill streak. You have more kills in a plane than in a tank, and you play Clean Sweep most, which is dominated by the plane, so we can assume that you just flew around and bombed the sh*t out of people, and we can also assume that you had very little opposition, or opposition that you managed to kill easily.
