Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
LOL, yeah!!! The drawing is "not to scale" so don't take it literally. I'm not even sure there SHOULD be two flags in the middle island to be honest. Just thought it might be fun to have two flags about 50m away from each other.
I don't like that idea much. Getting spawnraped there would get irritating quickly. But I still love the map idea. My map is just taking way to much of my time as it is, so I can't do it myself.

Like most spawn-in points they are covered from at least 2 sides. I would put bunkers and buildings in the way so you couldn't spawn camp someone unless they were standing right there.
Placing spawn points inside buildings also.
BTW, I was thinking of only putting artillery on the 64-player map, but I don't know how to do that.
I tried making it but my editor keeps crashing on me. I'm not very good at mapmaking it seems.
Perhaps after I finish more of these tutorials I'll figure out what I'm doing wrong...I think its my lightmap or a heightmap issue...but not sure.
By all means go for it. I'm not trying to take the credit I just want a map that is fun to play.
It has done that many times with me, it's mainly because you open up too many resources at one time. Like if you open all the vehicles even a 3mb RAM comp would crash..well not exactly but you get the point.

Mayb just putting one artillery launcher, in the middle you could have a heli-pad, 3 buggies one APC so there will be heavy conflict in the middle.
That is a great idea but i don't think it will work. First it will be easy to play and second what's the point of having such junk, have you ever heard of 2 armys fighting on a bridge. They will fire artillary at each other not attck one another on a bridge that's just stupid.
Ever see the last scene of Saving Private Ryan?? Ever played America's Army?? It creates a choke point so there's tons of action. No arty is a good idea. I do think up to 32 players would be cool, but more than that may get too cluttered. And why would people NOT atttack eachother?? When has that EVER happened in this game??

That's why I wanted to know if you can make a map without artillery because this map would have too many choakpoints and it would be stupid for both commanders to constantly dropping artillery on the same spots over and over again.

Yes, you can. Actually one of the maps in the new mappack that is coming dosent have artillery. And it is buildt on islands aswell much like what is requested here in this thread. Its not been public yet, and it wont until mappack is released.

There has been plenty fights over bridgeheads.
Kyaukmyaung Bridgehead, Burma
Naktong Bridgehead, Korea
REMAGEN BRIDGEHEAD, 7-24 MARCH 1945 WORLD WAR II
Kiev bridgehead ww2
Zaporozhe bridgehead ww2
Soviet bridgehead at Kerch in the eastern Crimea ww2.
The Red Army begins an offensive to restore the land communications with the encircled city of Leningrad. The Germans abandon a 300 miles salient in Caucasus. and withdraw towards the Kuban Bridgehead. German troops evacuate Krasnodar and reach the defensive positions in the Kuban bridgehead.
Russian offensive from Dnieper bridgehead North of Kiev
Tervate bridge in Belgium where The 4th Division, heroes of Namur, held the Tervate bridge.
The list goes on and on... a bridge is a very natural new defence post for a retreating or pressured army. A bridge is valuable also to stop the enemy getting supplies if taken behind frontlines like Israel did with Egypt in 1973.
Egypt and Syria attacked on Oct. 6, 1973, pushing Israeli forces several miles behind the 1967 cease-fire lines. Israel was thrown off guard, partly because the attack came on Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement), the most sacred Jewish religious day (coinciding with the Muslim fast of Ramadan). Although Israel recovered from the initial setback, it failed to regain all the territory lost in the first days of fighting. In counterattacks on the Egyptian front, Israel seized a major bridgehead behind the Egyptian lines on the west bank of the canal.
A bridgehead is literally a military fortification that protects the end of a bridge that is closest to the enemy. The term has been generalized to mean any kind of defended area that is extended into hostile territory, in particular the area on the farside of a defended river bank or a segment of coastline initially seized by an amphibious assault.
A bridgehead typically exists for only a few days, the invading forces being either thrown back or expand the bridgehead to create a lodgement area before breaking out into open country as happened when the U.S. 9th Armored Division ceased the Ludendorff Bridge at Remagen in 1945 during World War II. In some cases, such as during the Gallipoli Campaign in World War I, a bridgehead may exist for months.
I'd play it in a second. You should add some enterable buildings and give each side one boat. No arty, helos, planes, or APCs. Also have the uncappable spawn points and the center point elevated.
In this map you may not fly or drive boat to the rear areas of the map, and you have to push the front line from flag to flag. No airplanes and no artillery.
