single player with more than 16 bots

How can I get to play in a single player map with more than just 16 total bots? I heard a hint of someone playing with 32 bots once in singleplayer but I have not been able to do this and cant figure out how..

Hmm, not sure the Pope should be playing video games. Go and Pope...or something.

Okay, just go into your BF2 mod directory, find a file called DefaultAI.ai (something like that). Open it in notepad, and you'll see instructions for how to change the number of bots. Be warned, bots are a massive drain on the system.

If you want the bigger maps, you'll have to download one of the mods floating around: single player 64 maps by Viathon, or that co-op mod by...someone else.

I have played with 128 before, but it gets very laggy.. lolz.. to change the bots go to the file under the Battlefield 2 folder, "mods/bf2/AI/" open the file "AIDefault" with notepad. The line,

aiSettings.setMaxNBots 16

Change the number at the end of this line to the number of bots you weant in the game.

No 32 player maps yet i don't think but a guy is working on them. Like ^ he said they have mods for 64 though.

I'd be careful with those mods though, one of our guys loaded up the 64 player mod, and now punkbuster wont let him into certain servers....
