Well we have been going 2 weeks now and have nearly 200 members.
We are holding a battle every Sat eve so if you fance a good game come allong and join up.

About us A brief History.


Battlefield Command was started by a number of players who met at the 21CW DC tournament and over a number of seasons became friends.
With the release of BF2 they decided it was about time the European players had a locally based tournament with servers and management based within their own time zone.
Hence Battlefield Command was born.
The tournament is based around the popular EA Games Battlefield 2.
When joining you will be allowed to pick the side you wish to battle for.
The structure is 2 divisions 1 USMC 1 Mec/China. Divisions will follow the RL military ranking scheme where applicable with ranks and awards being given out by your commanding officers.
If you are fed up with the chaos of the public servers or the constant TKing for equipment on ranked servers then this is the place for you.
Once you have picked a division you will be assigned to a company, where you will practice, battle and have fun together.
Being based in Europe the battles will start at 6pm GMT+1 and run until 12PM GMT+1 at least twice a week.
Practice times and frequency will be given by your General / CO's once you are placed within a company.
It is a totally free tournament (donations gladly accepted) and although based within Europe players are welcome to sign up from anywhere. Don’t be shy no matter what level of skill you are, from complete beginner to veteran Clan / Tournament player there is a place for you here at Battlefield Command, come on in and meet like minded players and have a great tournament.

This is a must, great people great game and a great laugh what more could you ask for . Come on over and have a look If you live in the EU you will get a great ping on the battle server and we play 64 man battles with no lag ..

Its not only about the game we have a great community of people too , We are online in TeamSpeak everynight Just chatting and playing BF2 and Kicking some ass having fun.

But best of all the Tournament is FREE so all you have to do is sign up and pick a team and it doesnt cost you a penny ! To join in the Fun .

We have a almost to real Life rank structure to you can either be Pvt or Cpt its up to you how much time and effort you put in . But you get out of it what you put in .

Yeh i signedup a few days ago, ive never used TS before then and didnt usually frequent unranked servers.., but now what a laugh!!, also excellent teamplay in the process.

Whats more when you free signup once youve been assigned/registered/active you can get a slot on the server on request! (brilliant considering its free). Fun skrims and a smacktard free zone!!

As an added bonus while your signed up you get access to a aston martin db9 a luxury apartment and all expenses paid private jet too!

Ok so i might have exaggerated the last part a little, but the free tourny is turning out to be fun for me anyhow, considering ive had NO experience in this type of thing.

This really is the proper way to play this game!
Forget about the stats whores, the tk'ing plane stealers and the people who punish accidents.
This is proper, organised gameplay and is so much more fun than roaming around public servers hoping to find one without too many noobs.
The people organizing it have a lot of experience of tournament gameplay and know just what makes the game fun and what detracts from it.
Come along and give it a go. What have you got to lose?

Will you be starting to charge people for things like 21CW did for division swops? how popular is the server as the game-monitor graphs seem to show that is is never full and only averages 39/64 players. And lastly was it just ping that made you leave the 21CW tourneys? as i hear that is best one by a long way?

Its also not inspiring my confidence that one forum user has regged from this site, and the other posts are from their own members coming here to pimp the league Need more independant viewpoints!

I will try to answer some of your questions.

The Tournament layout is similar to some others out there. There are as it says currently 2 divisions. These battle on a Sat every week. If the ammount of players waiting to play increases then further divisions can be formed and battles scheduled for other days. For example 21CW has over 4000 members and runs with 2 servers.

No we will not be charging people. We gladly accept donations and I have already posted in the forums that if donations exceed the cost of running the tournament it will be used to provide more stuff i.e practice server.

Game Monitor monitors a server 24 hours a day and averages out the player ratio I think Im not sure. It is usually full most evenings my time and looking now 12:23am UK time there are 63/64 players on there. This server is left unpassworded and open to the public all the time apart from for battles and practices. Any more details on the stats you will have to ask the game monitor peeps im afraid. I just use it as a good way to publish the server datails and use it as a sig.

And lastly was it just ping that made you leave the 21CW tourneys? as i hear that is best one by a long way?

Who said people had left 21CW? Some of the people running the tournament and quite a few of the players still participate in both. I know a lot of TotalBF2 administrators are heavilly involved and play in 21CW as well. 21CW is very good. This is why we mentioned it on our front page. We just thought it about time we had a tournament based in Europe for European players (although anyone is welcome). I am very pleased however that most of our players are new to tournament play.

Well of course they are if people are having fun they are going to want to advertise the fact. Why do you think I started the thread. I submitted it as news here like i did to most other BF2 related site and posted in forums to try to get members.
I know only one TotalBF2 regular has posted a reply, but there isnt much I can do about that. At the end of the day its free and you are welcome to come and have a look for yourself.

Whats wrong with saying its good ?., just to add im not an admin at the site just a plain old soldier heh. Im confused as to why it doesnt inspire your confidence that "one forum user" has regged?.

Dont get me wrong im not trying to be awkward or arguementative as i know mis-translation can go off on a tangent sometimes when humour is involved.

Main 3 reasons i joined.
Good ping
Good teamwork without having to be a dedicated clan player
Good friendly atmosphere

Ive found all 3 within the 10+ days ive been regged.
