Looks good. Shouldn't have went with the 3800+ venice though, should have gone with a San Diego.

yeah. but i was on a budget so icouldnt spend the 400 on it i wanted to but i couldnt.
the best deal in there was prbably the 7800GT for only 395. ive seen normal 7800's for well over 500, plus my 7800GT has a core of 450 and a memory clock of 1075.

Umm... A 3700+ San Diego is cheaper than the 3800+ you got.
You couldn't have seen regular 7800s for that much as they havn't been released yet...$395 is actually high for a 7800gt, not a really good deal there....I got my 7800gt and a Mobo for $360. They are down to like $330 a/r on newegg.

                        Re: Punisher's New Gaming Rig.

Well, you could have gotten the Diego using the money SAVED by not buying an SLI mobo...at least you were intelligent enough to NOT buy two video cards...

I don't think you're going to miss that extra 512k anyway. Sounds nasty/tasty enough as-is.

if your gonna use the sli motherboard and you have enough money, then get another 7800GTX, otherwise, your not putting that sli motherboard to good use, it would be sheaper to buy a non-sli motherboard if you don't want two video cards. everything else looks awesome. (i envy you)
