I just baught the logitech-mx518 gaming mouse.. and i love the thing, and it is worth the 50$ with all the seperate buttomns and sensitivity settings... its great.. HIGHLY Recomended.

Yea, the MX-5 is Logitech's gaming mouse which is suppose to compete with Razer's Razorback (both 1600dpi). Overall, both mouses are highly recommended. :) Logitech will also be releasing their G-7 wireless laser mouse which will compete with Razer's Copperhead. (2000dpi) Here's some links:

It depends, some people favor wireless mouses because of their setup. Myself, I like wired mouses because of the realiability. Plus, a 16mb storage which can store the mouse's drivers and settings (for LANs).
