Points for destroing vehicles?

Is it coming in the next patch? I posted on this earlier and then read a something that I thought said you would get points, but now I think I was mistaken (it was just talking about assets like UAV). Taking out a tank with one man in it is worth more than just killing one man. And if you even damage your own vehicle, you get points taken off.

Side note: Anyone else think it's funny that you can get kicked for cursing when the entire purpose of the game is to blow each others' heads off? It's great we're thinking of the kids.

you get points for making a kill. Whether the person you kill is in a vehicle or not does not make a difference as far as I know. The patch will give points now for destroying enemy assets.

sidenote: its pathetic. this reminds me of that whole GTA hot coffee mod, some pixelated nudity that I cannot imagine wuld arouse even the sickest mind on the planet is the worst thing ever but a game that has as purpose to violently kill as many opponents as possible is rated TEEN, as a european all I can do is just laugh, it is too pathetic for words :laugh:

I would like to see all classes have the ability to score teamwork points doing what they do. I guess the only thing we can do is keep whining and keep hoping....

but uhh back to the subject the next patch will give you points for destroying artillery, uav and the scan trailer... you still get kills for destroying enemy vehicles but not if they are empty...which i think was what you were asking im not sure

Hillary Clinton is not part of the Right-Wing, although one could argue that she shares ideals with them, however people on both sides are responsible for this video game ********, but so far, 90% of them have been liberals. Also, please don't think that the entire Republican party is a bunch of hicks just because of Bush. I, for one, cannot stand him and I know that a lot of other Republicans feel the same way.

I thought it was kinda funny this turned into a political thread, not that I really mind :p But in response to this, I was talking about a manned vehicle. Obviously I don't think you should get points for blowing up an empty tank, but when it's taking out half your team at spawn points I do think it is worth more than one kill.

On a similar note, you should get kill assists on evryone in a vehicle if you do over half damage to the vehicle and they get killed in it. I don't think this is in the game now but I might be mistaken. I just hate putting three at rockets into a full blackhawk and shoot off the fourth only to see some rocket come from out of nowhere and blow it up so some other person gets credit for 6 kills while you get nothing because you didn't actually damage the people, just the vehicle.

god i hate it when that happens i seem to hit a black hawk sometimes with 5 rockets then some AT guy shoots it and blows it up and gets the kills

wow you can get teamwork points NOmatter what class you are on. now i am normally medic/sniper/ support but today i was on assault got 93 pnts over all 53 as teamwork and 40 as combat. hit <default> T and communicate with your commander (as squad leader) and you will get teamwork points its really simple.

Erm..... excuse me, but pushing T? As far as I know, requesting orders, UAV, artillery or supplies does not get you teamwork points. Even if it did, not everyone could go squad leader to receive these cheap (actualy worthless if you didn't really earn them) points.

Yes, capturing flags, kill damage assists, flag defence, driver assists... are available to all classes.

What we are referring to is that medics have their heal/revive points, support have resupplies, engineers have repair points. The other classes have no unique way of earning teamwork points.

Anti-tank should get a teamwork point for destroying enemy armour (whether the guy dies or bails out just before it explodes). Assault should get a teamwork point for every 5 kills or so. Snipers should get points for every 5 unique "spots" they perform. Spec ops will get points for destroying enemy assets (but should get points for destroying armour also).
