u can only play on all low settings with a 5700, i get fps, but the graphics suck...the H on the heli pad is all blurry.

what fps do you get?

heres a pic running on the 5200, not running on all low, so i doubt what you guys saying '' running all low 5700 '' is true. I think it might be other things like your RAM and proccessor?

i'm running in this pic

1 gig
2.8 ghz
5200 (well of course)

Well then thats how it's going to look on the 5700 like I said it's not much

what fps do you get?

30-40 + when no one else is around, but when i am in firefight with another tank/apc, its drops big time, usually my screen will almost freeze and then i am dead. i couldnt take it anymore so i upgraded.

dude i have a "nvidia 6600GT" and i have most of mine in medium and 1 or 2 high. so i dont know why you bothered buying a 5700 because it will barely be able to play.(if you want some screenies go look in the media section, there tend to be people who post those kinds of things for laughs in there.)

I have a PCI nVidia 5700 that I also bought from newegg about 3 or 4 months ago. Yes it does run BF2. I play my game on all low settings and get about 30-35 fps.


My suggestion is that if your motherboard does support an AGP or PCI-e port, then get a better card than this. If not, then I think that this is the best card you can get for a PCI slot.

Its really gonna depend on how your pc is setup and works with whats in your pc now. IE: ram speed...hard drive...memory...and basically just how it all works or, dont work, well with each other, if that makes sense.
My bud was using a 5700, and his game took zero hits in the performance...and looked really, really good.
For the most part, dollar for dollar, you should end up being pretty happy.

thanks for the screens for the people who put them out. The water looks ALOT better than what i ran.

And yes to the guy who said it does matter about ram speed, proccessor, i will be running on 2.8 pentium4 ghz, and 1 gig of ram, so i think i'll be fine in those areas.

you're confusing it with PCI-E which is Epress at 16X AGP runs at 8X n regular PCI dunno...
