k.what does this mean to the LEFT of the JOIN GAME button? i "X" it and join game, nothing happens. i leave it blank and join game and nothing happens.

If u have it ticked after a few seconds you will go onto the spawn screen without pressing join game, where as if it isn't crossed they it will just stay on the load screen.

I dont think thats true. If you have it ticked, then after you die you dont get sent back to the spawn select screen. You automatically respawn at the last selected spawn, unless that flag has been capped which will then bring up the spawn screen.

so if its ON then you cant change kits? unless like you mentioned earlier, the spawnpoint is gone.

No, you can still press the spawn select screen (I think it's 'E' by default) to bring up the kit select screen and change kits. Otherwise you'll just spawn with the kit you previously selected.

I wish EA would have like a FAQ on things like this along with the proper ribbon requirements
