What would I need to do to start skinning? I have Photoshop CS installed in on my computer. What would I need to do and some tutorials would be great also.

Well...try reskinning first..make your own bf2 mod and just edit the skins. For selecting the parts...you will just have to do it manually with the polygonal lasso tool. If your skinning from scratch..I suggest going here for tuts.

I did a little tutorial I watched. I have a background in Photoshop (have been using it for years so I picked some things up quick). How is this for a first time skinner?

You have to go into your objects client folder and go to the weapons...and then open up the skin with the ending "_c"
