    BF1942 Mapping Help

Does anybody know the location of some good tutorias for Battlecraft 1942. I just started and I know how to place all the objects and everything. Is there a point texture system? I know how to place vehicles and such as well but a good "Getting Started" tutorial will be much appreciated.

just out of curiosity, are you one of those people who got so p!ssed off because of bf2 being unrealistic and want to go back to bf1942 (DC maybe?)?

Ha ha, hell no. I love BF2 its one of the best games out there at the time and I cant stand all the bitching and moaning that goes on. The only reason I'm not playing/mapping for BF2 is that my computer at the moment can't run it.

yeah its a good game but some stuff just doesn't make any sense. I find it very unrealistic. And i think the reason why Dice made the game unrealistic (i read this somewhere) is because people under 17 can play the game. Most countries, excluding U.S., have laws about M rated games. That's why there is no blood in the game. Also, that's why the game is so "easy". Nothing in the game is actually close to reality, the only reason i am playing BF2 is:

              1. It has the most advanced editor for mapping.
              2. I really love seeing people going crazy for points, they just look so stupid and helpless.

Well, you may say BF2 is an arcade game and if i want realism i should play AA or Rainbox Six, but those games have their disadvantages too.

They all have their disadvantages. If you care to search them out. If you look for something to ruin the game for you hard enough....you'll find it.
