I love how EA claims they were going to crack down on stat padding but gave users no way to report them. There is this guy on one of the servers I go to alot that ALWAYS goes commander then when he fires artillery he resigns and gets the regular amount of points. It's ridiculous. Is there anyway I can report this guy to get his stats reset or maybe a hardware ban?

A guy that full time Stat pads as a Commander is likely going to have a higher score than someone that plays just regularly,which is going to result in him always beating out the other fellow for command position thanks to it being based off highest rank.
So not only can a player do nothing to stop them from padding,but they can't even take the position next round from them because they are outranked,and thus the player never gets to be a commander on said server.
There are alot of people out there,including myself that enjoy the command aspect of the game,and players that use it simply to stat pad ruin any chance of me simply taking part in that feature cause I don't play enough ,nor do I stat pad and thus cannot beat rank.I simply either play or start surfing servers,which isn't terribly exciting.
So to those that say it doesn't effect players,why care? well it does.Comment

I agree. Padding is no different than wall hacking, aimbotting, etc. Its cheating Plain & Simple. If people don't act like they care about people cheating, then it will just run rampant. Thats the problem with online gaming. There are NOT enough people who care about fair play. I personally think that the ones who make the hacks for these games should have there hands stuck in a Printing Press. Let then try to write the hacks with their needle d**ks. It's so sad that people need to use hacks & ways to cheat when they play games online. I guess that way you can go to school & brag to your friends about it. You can bet that most of the people that say they don't care about padding or cheating, well ....we know they are pre-puberty children with no respect or responsibilities AT ALL. All it takes is playing on a server where an admin is there. If you really care, just look at the server name, then see if one of their tags are playing. Problem solved.Comment

Why is padding no different from wall hacks and aimbots?
They are active cheats to make killing easier. Padding is just to increase your stats. You may get more unlocked weapons but you can only use one weapon per life. No different to picking up an unlock from a teammates corpse or legitimately having an unlock.
What do you mean "it will run rampant"? Cheating is already rampant, every game has cheats.
I don't like cheats, I don't use cheats but no-one forces you to play in cheating servers.
Just cos some people don't care about stat padding doesn't make them "pre-puberty children with no respect or responsibilities AT ALL" Its just normal people who wanna have a fun game without all this bs about stat padding.
Why should everyone care just cos you wanna come whining and crying about stat padding. It doesn't even matter. Just find a server with no padders (of which there are many) or put your game back in its box and return it to the store.
